Great Southern Grammar declared the NATIONAL Winner of the McCormick Flavour Forecast 21st Edition
Great Southern Grammar, WA Michelle Zammit, Culinary Product Development, McCormick Foods Australia: “The creativity, quality and level of sophistication seen in this year’s entries was amazing. It was evident the team at Great Southern Grammar had worked hard to bring in local produce and take into consideration individual experiences of the students.
Great Southern Grammar, both students and the faculty, should be congratulated for an outstanding entry.” Students took out the National prize with the following recipes:
Great Southern Grammar Hospitality teacher, Mrs Teresa McAllister, said “I was so proud and excited for my Year Ten students to be announced the national winners of this recipe challenge. They worked incredibly hard to design, trial, produce, and evaluate recipes to meet the Flavour Forecast design briefs. They all showed creativity, used new and local ingredients, and worked cohesively as a team. I congratulate every one of them!
